Join Us for the Raine & Horne Maclean Yamba Iluka & Yamba Bowling Club Brooms to Bowlo Charity Day
WHEN: Sunday 26th July
Get ready to be part of one of the Clarence Valley's most inspiring community events as Raine & Horne Maclean Yamba Iluka and Yamba Bowling Club proudly present the annual Brooms to Bowlo Charity Day on Sunday 26th July 2026. Since its inception in 2008, this much-loved event has raised more than $133,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research, thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our local community. More than just a fundraiser, Brooms to Bowlo is a day that brings people together in support of a worthy cause while celebrating the natural beauty, community spirit and generosity that make our region so special.
Participants can choose from two fantastic ways to get involved. Adventure seekers can take on the iconic 23-kilometre coastal walk from Brooms Head to Yamba, traversing some of the most breathtaking sections of the Yuraygir National Park. Along the way, walkers will experience pristine beaches, dramatic headlands, rugged cliffs, tranquil lakes and stunning coastal heathlands, all while raising funds for those affected by Cystic Fibrosis. The day begins with a bus transfer from Yamba Bowling Club to Brooms Head before walkers set off on a journey that showcases the very best of our coastline. Whether you're walking with friends, family or fellow community members, it's an unforgettable experience that combines fitness, friendship and fundraising for an important cause.
For those looking for a more relaxed way to support the event, the Family Day at Yamba Bowling Club offers plenty of entertainment for all ages. From barefoot bowls and croquet to live music, raffles and auctions, there will be something for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and families, a range of incredible prizes will be up for grabs, helping to raise much-needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis research. Best of all, every participant will receive a complimentary lunch and drink, making it easy to spend the day enjoying great company while contributing to a meaningful cause. Whether you choose to walk the coastline or join us at the club, every ticket purchased and every dollar raised helps make a difference.
Community and charity are at the heart of both Raine & Horne Maclean Yamba Iluka and Yamba Bowling Club, and we invite everyone to come along and be part of this special day. Wear red to show your support for Cystic Fibrosis, gather your friends and family, and help us continue a tradition that has been changing lives for nearly two decades. Together, we can raise vital funds, create lasting memories and demonstrate the strength of our community. We look forward to welcoming you to the Brooms to Bowlo Charity Day on Sunday 26th July 2026.
